When it first opened its store in 1973, the company decided to choose “FamilyMart” to name the store with a sincere wish that the company's customers, franchised store system, and FamilyMart headquarters will grow together as a family.
In the next stage, we constantly strive to and work hard to meet the diverse needs of customers according to the change of social structure. At the same time, we decided to adjust our business model to strongly promote the benefits of neighboring stores.
With the launch of its first store in Taiwan in 1988, FamilyMart once again recorded an important milestone in its business development to the international market.
According to the most recent statistics on March 31, 2023, our network spans across 8 countries and territories around the world, mainly concentrated in Asia, with more than 24,500 stores. More than that, we continue to explore together in social development and promise to bring many new breakthroughs in the future.
